7.1 Introduction to Internet

(इन्टरनेट एक परिचय)

The Internet is the global system of interconnected computer networks that use the Internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to link devices worldwide. It is a network of networks that consists of private, public, academic, business and government networks of local to global scope, linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless and optical networking technologies. The Internet carries a vast range of information resources and services, such as the inter-linked hypertext documents and applications of the World Wide Web (WWW), electronic mail, telephony and file sharing.

इन्टरनेट इंटरकनेक्टेड कंप्यूटर नेटवर्क की वैश्विक प्रणाली है जो दुनिया भर में डिवाइसेज को जोड़ने के लिए इंटरनेट प्रोटोकॉल सूट (टीसीपी/आईपी) का उपयोग करती है। यह नेटवर्क का एक नेटवर्क है जिसमें स्थानीय, सार्वजनिक, शैक्षिक, व्यापार और स्थानीय नेटवर्क के ग्लोबल नेटवर्क शामिल हैं, जो इलेक्ट्रॉनिक, वायरलेस और ऑप्टिकल नेटवर्किंग प्रौद्योगिकियों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला से जुड़ा हुआ है। इंटरनेट में सूचना संसाधनों और सेवाओं की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला है, जैसे इंटरलिंक्ड हाइपरटेक्स्ट डॉक्यूमेन्ट और वर्ल्ड वाइड वेब (डब्ल्यू डब्ल्यू डब्ल्यू), इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मेल, टेलीफोनी और फाइल शेयरिंग एप्लिकेशन।

7.2 Computer Networks (कम्प्यूटर नेटवर्क)

Networking is a technique which is used to make personal computer to multi user behavior. Although the computers having single user multi tasking operating system or network operating system (NOS). By sharing resources and peripheral devices more than one user can work at a single resource or device.

नेटवर्किंग एक ऐसी तकनीक है जिसका प्रयोग पर्सनल कंप्यूटर को मल्टीयूजर बिहैवियर की तरह प्रयोग करने के लिए किया जाता है। यद्यपि कंप्यूटर में सिंगल यूजर मल्टीटास्किंग ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम या नेटवर्क ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम (एनओएस) होता है। रिसोर्सेज और पेरिफेरल डिवाइसेस को साझा करके एक से अधिक यूजर एक ही रिसोर्स या डिवाइस पर काम कर सकते हैं।
