4.15 Cell Reference (सेल रेफरेंस)

A cell reference refers to a cell or a range of cells on a worksheet and can be used in a formula so that Microsoft Office Excel can find the values or data that you want through the formula to calculate.

एक सेल रेफरेंस किसी वर्कशीट पर किसी सेल या सेलो की रेंज को संदर्भित करता है और इसे फार्मूले में उपयोग किया जा सकता है ताकि माइक्रोसॉफ्ट ऑफिस एक्सेल वैल्यू या डेटा ढूँढ सके जो कि आप उस फार्मूले के जरिये गणना करना चाहते हैं।

4.16 Types of Cell Reference in Ms Excel (एमएस एक्सेल में सेल रेफरेंस के प्रकार)

There are three types of cell reference in Ms Excel: एमएस एक्सेल में तीन प्रकार के सेल रेफरेंस होते हैं:

• Relative cell Reference
• Absolute cell Reference
• Mixed cell Reference

4.16.1 Relative cell Reference (रिलेटिव सेल रेफरेंस)

By default, Excel uses relative references. A Relative cell reference changes when copying or moving the formula or cell value to a different location in the worksheet. Relative references are very useful when you have a range of cells and you want the references to relatively change as and when you copy the formula down to other cells.

एक्सेल डिफ़ॉल्ट रूप से, रिलेटिव सेल रेफरेंस का उपयोग करता है। वर्कशीट में फ़ॉर्मूला या सेल वैल्यू को किसी भिन्न स्थान पर कॉपी या स्थानांतरित करते समय एक रिलेटिव सेल रेफरेंस बदल जाता है। रिलेटिव रेफरेंस बहुत उपयोगी होते हैं जब आपके पास सेलो की एक रेंज होती है और आप चाहते हैं कि जब आप फ़ॉर्मूला को अन्य सेलो में कॉपी करे तो रेफरेंस अपेक्षाकृत बदल जाये।

Example: See the formula in cell D2 below. Cell D2 references (points to) cell B2 and cell C2. Both references are relative. उदाहरण:- नीचे सेल D2 में फ़ॉर्मूला देखें। सेल D2 रेफरेंस सेल B2 और सेल C2 (इंडिकेट करता है)। दोनों रिलेटिव रेफरेंस हैं।

This cell references adjust and change when copied or when using AutoFill.

• Select cell D2, click on the lower right corner of cell D2 and drag it down to cell D5. सेल D2 चुनें, सेल D2 के निचले दाएं कोने पर क्लिक करें और इसे सेल D5 तक नीचे खींचें।

• Cell D3 references cell B3 and cell C3, Cell D4 references cell B4 and cell C4, Cell D5 references cell B5 and cell C5. सेल D3 सेल B3 और सेल C3 को रिफर करता है, सेल D4 सेल B4 और सेल C4 को रिफर करता है, सेल D5 सेल B5 और सेल C5 को रिफर करता है।
